A new study compared pharmacists’ happiness with their work in New Zealand and Canada. It found similar issues—but one country fared better in several key areas.
Nearly all students who responded to the survey said that stress from pharmacy school negatively impacted their mental health, and 85% said that it had a moderate to severe impact on it.
After the change, set to take place next month, pharmacists will only need to check the CPSM registered members list to confirm two pieces of information.
Health Minister Michelle Thompson says the new program will be piloted in 12 pharmacies across the province, with more locations expected in the spring.
