But many patients also said virtual care requires both physician and patient to work harder at communicating and understanding each other, according to the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.
'You better learn jiu jitsu and hand-to-hand combat if you ever take my opioids away,' Dr. David Bittleman's patient wrote him. 'You better learn how to defend yourself!'
