The Ontario College of Pharmacists will discuss whether using time-delayed safes should become mandatory for pharmacists in a December 12 meeting. 

Shamez Kassam, who owned a pharmacy in London, Ont., also instructed staff to dispense methadone without a pharmacist present, according to the Ontario College of Pharmacists.

Classes featuring experts on migraine science will be available around the world.

A new partnership between The University of Toronto’s Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy and Dalla Lana School of Public Health will study how pharmacists can contribute to the healthcare system. The research is funded for the next two years by a $3 million donation from Shoppers Drug Mart.
