Tech Talk : Specialty Medications and Biologics: Practical Strategies for Pharmacy Technicians to Support Patient Care and Coordination
Specialty and biologic medications are transforming the treatment of complex conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis and cancer—and their use continues to rise year after year. As a result, pharmacy technicians are taking on an increasingly important role in managing these therapies. This CE examines how the National Association of Pharmacy Regulatory Authorities (NAPRA) Entry-to-Practice Competencies apply to specialty pharmacy practice, while providing practical guidance for day-to-day patient care.
