Saskatchewan’s official opposition has moved an emergency motion that would ban the practice of using virtual doctors for patients giving birth or experiencing a life-threatening emergency.
Ontario is set to study how it can introduce involuntary addictions treatment for people involved in the correctional system, one of a slate of measures the government is planning as part of—or associated with—a large justice bill tabled Thursday.
The announcement of the fundraiser was held primarily over Zoom on Wednesday afternoon, where the group was joined by Dr. Paul Parks, Dr. Esther Tailfeathers and Dr. Joe Vipond, among others.
