Doctors Nova Scotia president Dr. Colin Audain, said virtual care, as provided by the province’s agreement with Maple, is a bit of a ‘Band-Aid solution.’
‘The specialist physician or surgeon who applies for the prior approval must also indicate the expected length of stay required for treatment,’ noted a release from the province.
