B.C. pharmacists ready to give 50,000 flu shots
This year marks the third flu season since pharmacists in British Columbia received authorization to administer injections in 2009. To kick of the new season and raise awareness, Health Minister Michael de Jong and Marnie Mitchell, the B.C. Pharmacy Association’s CEO rolled up their sleeves to get their own pharmacist-administered flu shots in the B.C. Legislature.
