In the next 10 years, the number of Canadians living with frailty will grow to more than two million.

Over the years, I have been asked to participate in dozens of research projects for children with autism. But I became increasingly disappointed. There is a significant amount of money invested in learning about our kids’ brains, but there is too often an imbalance at the heart of research.

My solo GP practice was supported by the basic fundamentals of electronic facilitation. Billing, of course, reconciliation, appointment scheduling but, not EMR. Lab requisitioning, imaging both at community clinics as well as hospitals, the full spectrum of speciality and interventional procedures and medical and surgical referrals were all done using FAX.

At the start of the pandemic, there was a marked drop in demand for typical cold and flu remedies. As Canadians have started to get out and about as restrictions lift, is your pharmacy seeing an uptick in demand for these medicines?
