Moderna Canada President Patricia Gauthier said Friday the company sent an application to the Canadian vaccine regulator late Thursday for a vaccine to protect children between six months and five years old.
Co-author Dr. David Fisman, of the University of Toronto's Dalla Lana school of public health, said the message of the study is that the choice to get vaccinated can't be thought of as merely personal.
The PromoVac strategy, developed in Sherbrooke by Dr. Arnaud Gagneur to convince parents who are hesitant about vaccination, will be deployed across Canada through a telehealth platform.
