Outsourcing chores can be a godsend for busy doctors—but there are possible pitfalls too

While being my own boss is exciting, being able to help pharmacists maximize their success is equally exciting. Seeing people step into their potential is exciting. And being able to solve the various problems that come up along the way is also exciting.

The new year – still fresh – presents an opportunity not only to look back at all that was accomplished over the past 12 months, but also to look ahead and set priorities for the new year. That is especially the case if you are preparing to put up your pharmacy for sale within the next five years or so, because that is how long a successful business sale transaction can take in the pharmacy industry.

'Physicians can get very self conscious when they need to negotiate on their own behalf. Like, is it really needed? Do I really need to do this or am I being a stick in the mud?'
