New projections show a recent upward trajectory in COVID-19, with Ontario's cases currently doubling every 10 to 12 days.

"Mobile rapid response teams will place skills and equipment where they are most needed, while allowing capacity within the system to address the backlog of patient services and better prepare for the flu season," said OMA president Dr. Samantha Hill.

Indigenous Services Minister Marc Miller says Indigenous communities have been facing an alarming rise in COVID-19 cases during the last few weeks. Miller says 673 COVID-19 cases have been reported in First Nations communities in all, and about 130 of them are active cases now.
