The Healthcare Interview: Kamal Midha takes a global view of pharmacy
Kamal Midha was elected president of the International Pharmaceutical Federation in 2006, the first Canadian to lead the 122-member organization. During his tenure, Midha has worked with global health leaders to advocate for worldwide pharmacy education, patient safety and interprofessional collaboration. Heading into the last months of his presidency, he continues to raise awareness for issues facing pharmacists, including the need for new drug development and affordable medications.
