At the annual Manitoba Society of Pharmacists meeting April 6, pharmacists learned that a Reimbursement Proposal for Professional Pharmacy Services has been developed and is being examined by Manitoba Health.
The Alberta Pharmacists’ Association and grassroots Alberta pharmacists are questioning why the Alberta government has invested in a province-wide radio and print ad campaign to tell Albertans that “Lower prescription costs are good medicine for you, your family and for Alberta.”
The Pharmacists’ Association of Newfoundland and Labrador learned March 26 that generic drug pricing in the province would drop from 35 to 25 per cent of brand pricing by July 1, 2013.
