Earlier this week, the federal government announced it would add $46 billion in new spending over ten years for the country’s healthcare systems.

The module was developed in collaboration with 16 provincial health regulatory colleges to support awareness and knowledge of health inequity.

The meeting was a chance to introduce the IPPC and discuss Indigenous representation in pharmacy, strategies to improve Indigenous health, and anti-Indigenous racism in pharmacy. 

A poor job is often done in presenting narratives around prevention, leading to a lack of appreciation for its importance.
