The Health Standards Organization (HSO), an Ottawa-based non-profit, is seeking to develop national guidelines for mental health, addictions treatment, and suicide prevention in Canada.
These units, staffed by medical professionals such as intern Alina Manko, travel to different communities in relatively safe areas and set up makeshift clinics to assist those in need.
