Filed by pharmacist Sivajanan Sivapalan, the lawsuit alleges Shoppers made ‘frivolous and vexatious’ complaints to the Ontario College of Pharmacists about associate-owners after ending their franchise agreements.
The class action includes all Quebecers diagnosed with opioid use disorder after being prescribed opioid medications made by the pharmaceutical companies between 1996 and the present.
