Allan O’Dette reflects on his years of change with the organization, from 75-hour work weeks at the height of the pandemic, to improving relations with the Ontario government.
'We received over 1,000 submissions from patients who had questions for the parties. It was hard to whittle the list down for a one-hour session,' said the Alberta Medical Association's president.
'The OMA exists as an association for members,' Dr. Andrew Park, the 142nd president of the Ontario Medical Association told the Medical Post. 'That is where our guiding light needs to be.'
Another year has gone by and once again on May 1, organizations and individuals across the country are expressing their gratitude to the nation's doctors.
