The news that Telus Health purchased Kelowna, B.C., EMR vendor Med Access took many analysts by surprise. After all, Telus had already bought three EMR vendors: Wolf Medical Systems in B.C., KinLogix in Quebec, and the Canadian Medical Association’s MD Practice Software. It looked like Telus had its hands full integrating these disparate solutions.
