CPSA registration numbers suggest no physician exodus from Alberta
A new report on physician registration by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA) suggests the expected physician exodus as a result of government policies has not happened. The provincial government was quick to praise the findings, but the Alberta Medical Association said that the numbers don’t reflect the bigger picture and are too early to capture physician departures.
