The Healthcare Interview: From the ER to HBO
It was only a few years ago that Dr. Vincent Lam skyrocketed to the apex of the Canadian literary scene when he won the prestigious 2006 Scotiabank Giller Prize for his short story collection, <em>Bloodletting and Miraculous Cures</em>. Since then, the Toronto emergency physician has kept busy writing his next work of fiction and participating in the development of an eight-part television adaptation of <em>Bloodletting</em>, which will premiere Jan. 10 on HBO Canada. - 1/4/2010
