One in four Canadian seniors prescribed 10 or more drugs: CIHI
In 2016, about 1.6 million seniors (representing approximately 1 in 4 Canadians age 65 and older) were prescribed 10 or more drug classes, according to a new report by the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI) that looks broadly at drug use among Canadian seniors.
