Workplace harassment: Wrestling with snakes

Life and its many lessons—especially the bitter ones—teach us that an abundance of threats and denunciations are evidence of weakness and fear. And it also teaches us that many promises we hear are an attempt to build a broken trust. Just as life is pregnant with pain and sadness, it is also with love and joy—and this depends on our choices, reactions and luck as well. We don’t have choices in everything in this life. Circumstances occasionally force us to be in a place we do not like and do not want to continue in, but we continue in it against our will because our options are few or perhaps none. And also because we have been forced to swallow a bitter drink to avoid what is intensely bitter. Read: Dr. Jabir Jassam: You choose either yes or yes Dr. S is a beautiful, polite woman, who trusts others easily as if life’s scorpions and snakes had never stung her. Therefore, she trusted her colleague, Dr. N, and so she fell into her arms. Because she was looking for a saviour, she thought she had found her saviour. She walked in Dr. N.'s path and drank from her cups, not knowing that these paths are full of snakes and these cups are full of poison. Dr. S’s fault is that she is very kind, perhaps too kind, and that is why she began to suffer from the first day. Her fault is also that she did not ask about the path before she set foot on it, nor about the drink before she swallowed it. The adornment of the path seduced her, and the beauty of the cup deceived her, and who among us is not deceived by beauty? Dr. N started torturing her in immoral ways by threatening and intimidating her. Dr. N is known by everyone—a woman who was created from evil—so she eats and drinks evil, lives on it and sleeps with it, and because she is like that, she exudes evil wherever she goes. She is a woman who is afraid of the unknown, looking for a place for her among the strong people to feel safe, but these places eject her one after the other, and she does not see that. Dr. N does not see that she is a rejected woman; her very narrow imagination, crowded with conspiracies and intrigues, depicts the exact opposite and she, in turn, tries to show her strength and attractiveness to others in various ways, and one of the easiest ways is threat and empty intimidation. Yes, she is a sick woman, everyone knows this except her, she does not know that she is a sick and hated woman and does not want to know. Rather, she pretends the opposite, as she claims that she is a beloved woman and that everyone loves and supports her. This evil woman wanted to make our good and beautiful colleague delicious food for her, but she did not know that normal people do not continue to slumber and that they will wake up from sleep and see the truth. (To be clear, there was not a sexual relationship between the two—but Dr. N always tries to enslave and exploit those who work with her and that was what she has been trying to do with Dr. S.) The evil woman thinks that she is frightening our beautiful colleague and that she will get what she wants with her constant threat and endless intimidation. The problem is that this evil woman does not know the seriousness of her actions and that the snakes will turn to her and bite her sooner or later and that the poisons will kill her one day. I see it very soon. To our beautiful colleague I say: go and God’s eyes take care of you, and behind you hearts beat with you and hands clap for you. I can see your fingers showing us the victory sign and a day when she is no longer around.
