Stop having kids and see a financial planner: ER doctor's advice leaves suicidal postpartum mom feeling ashamed

Delsie Martin left a Manitoba emergency department—where she went for help after being overwhelmed with suicidal thoughts—without having received any treatment or referrals. Instead the doctor told her 'if I get financial planning (and) if I don’t have babies, I’ll be fine.'
