Payer-directed care and closed PPNs ‘pose potential risk of harm’: OCP

At a meeting, the Ontario College of Pharmacists approved the statement that rebukes closed preferred-provider networks (PPNs) and payer-directed care. They also discussed the rise of vertical integration, when groups like Telus or the Ontario Teachers Insurance Plan own their preferred pharmacies.
