New program could subject Quebec docs to inspections for opioid prescriptions deemed unusual by their college

Under the new program, an inspector with Collège des médecins du Québec analyzes public insurance data against a set of criteria and risk indicators for unusual or potentially inappropriate prescriptions for opioids and benzodiazepines.
