NEW PRODUCT: BIOS Diagnostics Blood Pressure Monitor Progression
Ontario-based medical device manufacturer Thermor Limited has put out a new blood pressure monitoring device.
Released under its BIOS Diagnostics brand, Thermor’s Blood Pressure Monitor Progression (BD255) is a tubeless blood pressure monitor cuff that sits directly on the user’s upper arm.
“Progressing blood pressure into the modern age! Say goodbye to cumbersome tubing getting wrapped around your arm,” the company says in its marketing materials.
The device can store up to 150 measurements for two users and can provide an average based on the last three readings. Other features include irregular heartbeat detection and an indicator for arm movement.
The product also carries a recommendation seal from Hypertension Canada.
The BIOS Diagnostics Blood Pressure Monitor Progression is available on the BIOS Medical website for $104.99.
