COVID-19, unlike influenza and RSV, does not yet have established seasonality in Canada, and emerging variants continue to necessitate the updating of variants included in vaccines. This lesson will describe and differentiate COVID-19 and influenza and discuss opportunities to efficiently identify, educate, and vaccinate individuals at high risk of severe illness from these and other respiratory viruses.
